Traditional gifts and words were exchanged between Prime Minister Bob Loughman and VP supporters from Tanna Island including former Prime Minister and former VP interim President Joe Natuman to bury all their differences.
The ceremony that took place at Joe Natuman’s Nakamal at Freshwater One on Saturday 4 July saw VP supporters gathering together to witness the reconciliation of their political leaders as they wish to work one again after being divided during 19 General Elections.
This division has affected VP in Tanna Constituency as only two of its five candidates were elected.
The political party who leads the current Coalition Government expects to gain more support on Tanna after this reconciliation ceremony.
