A New Zealand Member of Parliament will be visiting Vanuatu next week.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Forestry and Biosecurity (MALFFB) announces that during his visit, the MP will go on the 22th October to the field site at Mangaliliu where works are underway to eliminate CRB (Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle).
Reports said the MP will inform the New Zealand Government about the real situation the community of North West Efate is facing since RCB has been found five months ago at Mangaliliu.
Meanwhile the MALFFB will be holding a press conference on Monday 28 October at Tagabe Agriculture School. The topics to be covered are:

• African Swine Flu
• X Ray Machines
• Proposal for the Detector Dog Hunter
