Following his arrival at the end of last month in Vanuatu, the new French Ambassador made his first official visit to Luganville on 9 and 10 October.
He was welcomed by the President of Sanma Province, Thomas Vora, who accompanied him throughout his stay on Santo and also by the new Mayor of Luganville.
It was the first time for the first resident of Luganville to meet with a diplomat since his election two weeks ago.
Accompanied by the Advisor of Cooperation and Cultural Action, the new French Ambassador met with members of the Council of Chiefs of Tabwemasana and the officials of Lycée de Luganville, the Maritime College, the Collège Saint-Michel, the Agriculture College and finally CTRAV and the provincial hospital.
During his first visit, he also met and exchanged with the French community living in Santo.
