By today (Monday) or tomorrow, the longest political party in Vanuatu should renew its leadership.
It was announced few weeks ago that the VP’s Congress which should open yesterday in South East Ambrym should elect its new president during the two day of debates on different issues affecting the country it had helped actively to gain its independence.
Following the passing away of Edward Natapei in July 2015, the former Prime Minister Joe Natuman has been nominated by the National Executive which is the supreme body of VP to replace the late leader on acting basis until the election of a new President. Three years have gone and VP has finally decided to elect its fourth president to be recorded in its history.
