On Saturday, December 2nd, students of Port Vila’s French School have visited the Children’s Ward at Port Vila Central Hospital. They came along with over 200 Christmas gifts donated by the French School community.
“It is beautiful to see how the students have joined hands together and how they have managed to make so many children happy. Well done to Santa’s Little Helpers!” said Mrs Denise Basil, French School Education Counsellor, who accompanied the Years 6, 7 and 8 students and their ESOL teacher Mrs Véronique Ruel.
“It was great! It touched our hearts. We have to do it again next year’’ said one of the students, participating in the event.
