The Pacific Organic and Ethical Trade Community (POETCom) of the Land Resources Division of the Pacific Community SPC is in Vila to coordinate a regional meeting for youth Organic farmers from Cook Islands, Niue, Vanuatu, Fiji and Marshall Islands.

The question ‘’How can we make our farms resilient enough to survive a changing climate?” will be one of several questions discussed during the meeting.

The meet or Learning Exchange is an output of the Capacity Building for Resilient Agriculture in the Pacific project (IFAD CBRAPP). It’s funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation CTA and coordinated by POETCom.

The event will take place in Melanesian Hotel 9-13 October.
