People of Sulphur Bay welcome yesterday Prime Minister Bob Loughman and members of his cabinet.
The historical village located in South East Tanna requested to the head of the Government helps for their livelihood as its inhabitants have no source of income. The representative of the chief of the village asked the high delegation to help them find a way to earn profit from Yasur Volcano and to the Government to develop their village.
Sulphur Bay has more than 400 inhabitants and is very well-known as the headquarters of John Frum Movement.
Bob Loughman is the third Vanuatu Prime Minister to pay a visit to this historical village after Maxime Carlot in 1997 and Edward Natapei in early 2000.
