She used to work in an office in the capital dealing with land at Etas where she lived with her husband and their three children.
She had collected millions of vatus from poor people being convinced that the so called real estate company she worked for sold plot of land in a new subdivision not far from the road leading to Etas dump site. Many of them were those RSE workers who have just come back from New Zealand.
They reportedly were all ripped off by this woman and the company she used to work for and later being identified as a scam when many people realized that the subdivision in question had never been really created and that their money could never be refunded.
Her name has just been revealed: Alexine John. She has become one of the most wanted persons in Vanuatu and when a facebook female user posted her picture on Monday reporting that she went to Etas to claim her money back but the lady has already left. That’s when people reacted.
The comments targeted mainly the lady, with treats and swears as many people knew that she has collected money probably knowing that the service she had provided would never satisfy those who had believed the existence of the new subdivision at Etas.
It was revealed during the discussion on FB that Alexine John did not live anymore at Etas and she has moved to Kokoriko at Manples area. Since she left Etas recently, many people went after her where she lives now.
