The man who was most wanted by the police after the revelations that he has been seen in the morning of 9th October some hours with Aicha Maccoe before the body of the young girl student from Montmartre was found dead at Etas, has been captured by police officers of Lakatoro on Friday night and brought back to the capital on Saturday afternoon.
Reports quoted Vanuatu Police Force saying that John Etienne Willie who is related to his victim was hiding at Burbar Village near Aulua in South Malekula when he has been hunted during one week. Police has received reports he has been spotted around Luganville and on Malo but the information received was false.
Reports said on Friday, Lakatoro police officers received information that the prime suspect in the death of Aicha Maccoe had gone to Aulua to see a woman he had a son with and stayed there overnight.
