There are allegations that the reason behind the urgent interlocutory orders (ex parte) issued last Friday against Barnabas Tabirupmwel, trading as Saling Shipping Services and Koyan Si Supermaket, Bujunbana Holdings Ltd (first defendant), Bujunbana Holding Ltd (second defendant), Smet Development Ltd (Lebini Hotel) (third defendant) and Justin Bulenok as Ramtan Constructions (fourth defendant) was because the man who used to be the founder of AFIC publicly declared his own victory against the local authorities while the issue of ownership of AFIC was still pending for Court hearing and also because he and his lawyer failed to turn up to Court on Thursday morning.
On Friday afternoon, after the issuance of the orders by Justice André Wiltens, Tabirupmwel’s lawyer was reported to have said that he has been showed an audio stream with his client addressing a crowd during one of his last public appearances on Pentecost. Barnabas Tabirupmel’s associates advanced this as an alleged principal reason that led to the issuance of the orders.
