The Quai d’Orsay in Paris, France, has just appointed a Guadeloupean to be in charge of France’s diplomatic mission in Vanuatu.
Robby Judes is the new French Ambassador to Vanuatu replacing Gilles Favret whose contract ended recently.
Being the first diplomat from the Antilles in the Carabean to become diplomat representing France in Vanuatu, Robby Judes has been previouly French Ambassador to the Comoros.
Prior to this post, he had notably joined the Interministerial Delegation in the fight against racism, anti-Semitism and anti-LGBT hatred, alongside Frédéric Potier.
