Vanuatu striker Azariah Soromon could be making a sensational move to Europe.
The 18-year-old Nalkutan star broke through at the Pacific Mini Games where he scored six goals and finished second in the top goalscorers list, OceaniaFC reports. The goals included a winner against New Caledonia, a hat trick against Tuvalu and a double against Tonga.
Now a rumor is circulating that he has impressed enough to secure a trip to Europe in search of more football experience and potential trials at professional clubs.
Last year Bong Kalo blazed a new path for players in the region after securing a trial at Leganes. He then moved to Ascona FC.
Ronaldo Wilkins, another young Vanuatu striker, was sent on trial to Brazilian giants Sao Paulo in November and reports from Brazil indicate he was one of the top performers in the trial. He is now set to join Rewa FC in Fiji after securing a transfer from Shepherds United.
